Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve heard that cleaning my carpet makes it soil ?
The problem results from residues being left in the carpet which attract dirt. The modern methods we use rinse virtually all of the cleaning agents out of the carpet so it will not attract dirt.

How often should you clean your carpets?
The obvious answer to that question is whenever they are dirty. However, some carpets may not look dirty be cause of light use. We recommend that to maintain the life and look of your carpet that you clean them at least twice a year. However, if your carpets need to be cleaned more often than that due to heavy traffic, spots or other spills then clean them as needed.

How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
On average, it will take approximately 20 minutes per room. This time can vary greatly depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how soiled the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments.

How long do I have to wait to let my children or pets walk on the carpet?
The carpet may be walked on with clean feet or indoor shoes immediately after cleaning; however, we recommend limiting activity on the carpet to this foot traffic until it is completely dry.

Do I need to move my furniture before the crew arrives?
We are professionally trained to move your furniture, and return it to its rightful place when cleaning is completed. We do suggest you remove items off of your furniture like electronics, plants, lamps, and knick-knacks. We will move most furniture that can be safely moved by a two-man crew. There are several items we will not move, including: pianos, electronics, china cabinets, waterbeds, some large beds, dressers with mirrors, pool tables, etc
